Leanne Alawi

After gaining my degree in Early Childhood Studies, I worked in various educational settings from Nursery to secondary, before taking up a role as Family Support Worker. Understanding challenges parents are currently experiencing as well as having a passion to develop healthy minds in children and young adults helped inspire the development of Mini & Mind Explorers.

As a former Primary school teacher, I have always had a passion for developing and learning especially through play. I have first-hand experience of the benefits of sensory play. I also dedicated my time in gaining extra qualifications and experience in working with children on the Autistic Spectrum and with specific learning difficulties. Through my teaching career, I also experienced the social and emotional difficulties children are increasingly experiencing.
